Mission

Bluewater Healthcare Network's purpose is to govern, own, operate and maintain an integrated health care system for the care and treatment of indigent, sick, infirm, and injured persons, and to generally provide for the preservation and promotion of health and health care in and around the Michigan counties of Sanilac, Tuscola, Huron and Lapeer, as the Board of Directors may from time to time determine. More specifically, Bluewater Healthcare Network is organized to promote, acquire, build, establish, and operate and maintain one or more critical access and charitable hospitals, and other entities that provide for healthcare for the reception, care, and treatment of sick, injured, wounded, afflicted and suffering human beings, among other activities listed in our Articles of Incorporation.
